Harvest 2006 Commences
This year sees the first vintage at full production for our new winery, Pamplin Family Winery, which will specialize in wines based on the classic Bordeaux varietals; cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc and merlot. These grapes will be harvested from premier vineyards in eastern Washington and Oregon. You'll have to wait awhile for the wines from these grapes though as we don't expect to release this wine until 2009. The new Pamplin Family Winery is located just outside of Sherwood on the Chehalem Mountains.
Anne Amie Vineyards will continue to specialize in Oregon
pinot noir, pinot blanc and pinot gris and we expect our harvest, here in the cooler northern Willamette Valley, to commence in about two weeks.
