The usual winter rains here in Oregon are famous, but this year we are closing in on a record wet winter with well over twenty straight days of rain. As the joke goes:
"In Oregon what do you call a clear day after two days of rain?"
"Monday"
However this week we are beginning to feel a bit of sunshine as we bottle our newest wine, which will
be released this spring. We have called this new white wine Amrita, the name of the mythical wine of the gods in Buddhist mythology. Reputed to bestow immortality on the drinker, we make no such promises, but we are sure that this bright, fresh and floral wine will cheer up even the rainiest day. Amrita is a blend created from Oregon's finest varietals by winemaker Scott Huffman. Just sipping this wine makes us forget winter and ready to head out to the patio to watch a beautiful sunset over the Coast Range.
We look forward to sharing a glass of Amrita with you this spring.
Can you tell me what grapes are used in this blend?

Thanks for writing. Amrita is (not in order) a blend of Muller Thurgau, Riesling, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and Vioginer.

I've never been a big white wine drinker but I bought a case of this immediately. So I have a better idea of what I'm drinking, can you give me an estimate of the proportions of the primary grapes used in this blend?
Thanks.
